We are an Anglican community that welcomes visitors and new members of any nationality and any age. Our worship follows the Anglican tradition (Church of England) and is in English.
As Christians we try to demonstrate God’s love for all humanity through kindness towards each other, our support of the wider community and using our talents and time to make a positive difference in the world.

The Book of Common Prayer has been at the heart of Anglican worship and tradition since 1549. St Paul’s has been supporting its use in public worship and private devotion as a Corporate Member of the Prayer Book Society since 2023. The Chaplain celebrates Holy Communion according to the BCP, without exception and irrespective of how many are in attendance, at 8.00am every Sunday morning. On Thursdays at 5.30pm the BCP is used for Evening Prayer. Over the last 18 months increasing use of the BCP at Sung Evensong has been generously supported by benefactors. With a strong and vibrant music tradition the BCP has been used to celebrate The King’s Accession Day, Remembrance Day, our Patronal Feast Day and other principal occasions. Exeter College Alumni choir also recently brought yet more beauty to the prayerful and liturgical genius of Thomas Cranmer who wrote the BCP all those centuries ago. It is not a history book nor a musical platform. Its purpose is to enable the worship of God the Holy Trinity and to encourage Christian formation and discipleship. Anyone interested in learning more should contact the Chaplain or simply turn up on Sunday or Thursday.
