An invitation has been extended to everyone connected with St Paul’s to join a service of Vespers at St Charles Roman Catholic Church on Saturday 12th April at 6.30pm.
The Dominican Order was founded in France by Dominic de Guzmán, a Castilian priest, to preach the gospel and to oppose heresy. The Order was established durign the Middle Ages, when men of God were no longer expected to remain in a cloister. Two orders emerged as a result of this culture shift: the Franciscans, founded by Francis of Assisi, and the Dominicans.
This is a unique occasion to share in the liturgical celebration and prayers of the Dominicans in a spirit of fraternal good will. The Chaplain would encourage you to support our fellow Christians in this act of worship.
