Cécilia Lyon is giving a lecture (in English) to raise funds for the British Association of Monaco.
The subject of the lecture, “Adolphe Valette & L.S. Lowry: The Master and the Pupil,” is based on one of Cécilia’s recent books. She will explain how Adolphe Valette, the French painter who introduced Impressionism to Manchester at the beginning of the 20th century, became the teacher of one of Britain’s most iconic modern artists, L.S. Lowry.
The admission fee is 30 euros, and all proceeds will go entirely to the charitable works of the British Association of Monaco.
A cocktail reception, generously offered by the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation with the support of Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, is included in the admission price.
