St Paul’s in more than simply a centre for Christian worship on the Côte d’Azur and we like to take an active role in the wider community. Recently we have been able to contribute €1000 towards financing part of the cost of an ambulance for the Hospitalité Diocésaine N.D. de Lourdes de Monaco.
The Hospitalité Notre-Dame de Lourdes is an archconfraternity, founded in Lourdes (in the department of Hautes-Pyrénées) in 1885. Its full members are known as Hospitaliers and welcome the thousands of pilgrims who come to Lourdes, many of whom are disabled or sick. Our Chaplain is pleased to have recently presented the charity with the cheque on behalf of St Paul’s.
