Remembrance Sunday at St Paul’s

Poppy Appeal Continues

The annual Remembrance Sunday service took place on 12th November 2017
with the traditional march along Avenue de Grande Bretagne to Place Winston Churchill,
followed by the Remembrance service back at Saint Paul’s Church.

Lay Reader Frank Megginson gave an excellent sermon on the need for
and value of remembrance in our lives both as citizens and as Christians.
A copy of Frank’s sermon can be downloaded  here

Baby Rose Burgess Tange Baptized

St Paul’s congregation had a treat on Sunday 24 September 2017 as
we celebrated the baptism of baby Rose Elizabeth Burgess Tange.

Rose was supported on her special day by her
parents Jenny and Vincent, along with friends and family.
Every baptism is an opportunity for each of us to remember
the great and mysterious blessing of our own baptism,
and the faith into which we journey from that day onwards.

Our prayers go with Rose and her family
as she continues on the journey of faith
